We are a church with the community in mind. We offer first the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then we offer a place to come experience the presence of God. God is calling those who once knew Him back into the fellowship and those that don't know Him to come and meet the only One who can not only change their lives but renew their souls.

Statement Of Purpose And Mission

We are committed to: Reaching People For Christ (1 Cor. 15:3-5)
Teaching The Word Of God (2 Tim. 2:15)
Supporting The Local Church And Pastor (1 Tim. 3:15; 1 Thes. 5:12,13)

Training Christian Workers, Ministries, Missionaries and Evangelist for Service at Home and Abroad.

Helping those in need: Homeless, fatherless, widows and those who have not come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This was the original mission of the first church.

We believe that every Christian is called to Minister in some capacity. Since a working knowledge of the Scriptures are indispensable in Ministry, we desire to teach people how to apply the Word of God in and to their lives so that they may in turn teach others.

We bring to this community an uniquely Pentecostal (evidence of the Holy Spirit according to the book of Acts) and Apostolic (according to the teachings of the Apostles) perspective with an emphasis on the person and the work of Christ and the gifts, fruit and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

It is our belief that education without empowerment is useless for meeting the Ministry challenges of our time.

Our ministerial board is comprised of persons who are called and gifted in the Ministry of teaching, counseling and the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They also bring with them wide and varied experiences in both life and service in the local church.

Finally, the ultimate aim of Prayer Tabernacle is found in Ephesians 4:12:
"For the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the Ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."

Is There A Work For You In The House Of God?

The answer is "YES". God has a work for you.

The Prayer Tabernacle is seeking gifted people in the area of singing for an outreach choir, musicians (drummers, keyboardist, etc.) for an active worship team, actors/actresses to perform gospel plays through out the year and praise dancers that will dance to the glory of God as well as participate in step shows.

We want a functioning performing arts section to help keep our children an d young people occupied in the things of God. We often heard that an idle is the devil's workshop. So, send your children to an environment that will help their souls. This is part of our community outreach program to motivate the young people to do constructive activities to better their future instead of destructive activities that may end in death. The Bible declares, "There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is death." We are here to help parents to raise their children in the things of God so that when they are older, they will not depart. We know that it takes a village to raise a child.

Counseling For Women

Once and sometimes twice a month, the women of the Prayer Tabernacle come together to pray and study the Word of God. We also address issues concerning women id ministry, health, sex and how to be better parents and wives. There is no issue that the Word of God does not give a solution. So come out and let's reason together using the Word of God!

Counseling For Youth

This service is for the Youth Department to come together and pray and then discuss future goals and ministry. The youth can speak their minds and share what they think that parents and teachers don't understand. They come together to be heard in an environment that offers spiritual solutions as pertaining to the Word of God. They meet once a month or as often as needed. Group sessions and one on one counseling sessions are offered.

Counseling For Men

Men should always pray and not faint. It is at this time that Men come together and discuss the Word of God and draw strength from one another about how to deal with their families and work environment. It is a time that they seek direction from God and learn how to take their rightful place in the church according to the Word of God.
